What This Program Does Not Replace

  • Processing complex trauma. If your trauma is developmental or involves significant dissociation, you need a therapist — not because the preparation here is not useful, but because the processing itself requires clinical oversight and relational containment that cannot be replicated by a self-guided program.
  • Crisis intervention. If you are in acute crisis, this program is not the right resource. Please contact a crisis service, your GP, or a mental health professional directly.
  • Diagnosis and assessment. This program provides psychoeducation. It does not diagnose, assess risk, or replace clinical evaluation.
  • The therapeutic relationship. One of the most powerful agents of change in trauma therapy is the experience of a consistent, attuned, responsive relationship. That is not something a program can provide.

What this program can do — and what it has done — is give you a thorough preparation for that work. You understand the model. You know your material. You have your targets identified and your stabilisation tools in place.

That preparation changes what is possible in therapy.
